What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Liaison position at New Direction Fertility Centers?
The Patient Liaison serves as a key member of our patient care team, providing excellant customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout each visit. This role combines front-office patient support with hands-on clinical exposure in a fast-paced fertility center. The Patient Liaison is responsible for welcoming patients, coordinating patient flow, supporting providers, and assisting with administrative and clinical duties while developing medical assisting skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and contact information.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare rooms for provider visits.
- Facilitate efficient patient flow while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Review follow-up instructions with patients and coordinate check-out processes.
- Provide patients with general information regarding clinic processes.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked patient care areas daily.
- Accurately document patient interactions and administrative tasks in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting patients during what can be an emotionally sensitive fertility journey.
- Assist with special projects, cross-training opportunities, and additional duties as assigned by management.
- HOURS: Mondays to Thursdays 7:55am to 2pm; Fridays 7:55am to noon
