We are seeking a CNC Machinist / Rubber Mold Maker with hands-on experience operating Mazak machines. This role involves precision machining, mold building, and working closely with engineering to produce high-quality rubber molds and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, specifically Mazak equipment
- Manufacture and repair rubber molds according to specifications and drawings
- Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances
Qualifications
- 3 years of CNC machining experience (Mazak preferred)
- Experience in mold making
- Proficiency with Mazatrol programming
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with tight-tolerance manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAM software
- Background in tool and die making
- Knowledge of rubber molding processes (compression, transfer, or injection)
