We're looking for an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent who takes pride in quality workmanship, values strong relationships, and enjoys leading projects from permit to closing.
What You'll Do
As a Superintendent, you'll oversee multiple custom home projects throughout Northern Virginia while serving as the primary field representative for New Dimensions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage the construction of multiple custom homes from permit through final closing
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to maintain project timelines
- Ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship throughout every phase of construction
- Conduct homeowner meetings and walk-throughs while providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with all applicable building codes
- Communicate proactively with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff
- Identify and resolve field issues while keeping projects on schedule and within company standards
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who enjoys building relationships as much as building homes.
Qualifications include:
- 5 years of residential construction superintendent or site supervisor experience
- Custom home experience strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety
