Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store merchandise and features
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure the store remains attractive and well-maintained
• Upsell products by recommending additional items that meet customer needs and increase sales
• Manage cash drawer handling and perform retail math calculations for transactions and change accuracy
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to planograms and promotional displays
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging engagement and sales
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls
• Assist in supervising team members when needed, supporting a collaborative work environment

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings
• Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail environment
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales totals
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to handle cash drawer handling responsibly while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques including product demos and upselling methods
• Strong organizational skills for stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
