What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Program Driver position at New Day My Way LLC?
New Day My Way, LLC is hiring for Van Drivers for our Trumbull County (Howland) Day Program location. This position would work under the direct supervision of the Day Program Director. The position is part-time and is a split shift. 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Times vary slightly, but an approximation would be 7:15am-9:15am and 2:15pm - 4:15pm Monday through Friday.
The main focus of our Van Driver is to transport and assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to and from our day program in Howland, OH, and to include ensuring the client's health and safety, independence, and happiness.
- Maintain health and safety of all individuals served
- Interact in a professional manner with individuals served and guardians
- Timely completion of daily reports/paperwork
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Transport individuals served on outings and appointments as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Must pass all background checks
- High School Diploma or GED
In this position you do qualify to participate in our Simple IRA with a 3% match.
