Role Description
New Day Foundation is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to fill the role of Ministry Development Associate. This pivotal position requires a candidate with a strong calling to ministry and a detail oriented, diverse skillset. This position is not just a “job”, it is a calling. There is a purpose to ministry work that is not found in vocational careers. This is important to understand when considering this position.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive director to develop and implement strategic plans for ministry operations and development.
- Contribute to the design and execution of all ministry initiatives.
Leader Training:
- Lead efforts in recruiting and training leaders for various foreign ministry operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development within the ministry teams.
Day-to-Day Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operational tasks, including basic accounting, record keeping, and payroll management.
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of all ministry programs and initiatives.
Executive Director Support:
- Serve as the right hand to the executive director, providing essential assistance in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with the executive director on decision-making, project management, and ministry initiatives.
Miscellaneous:
- Ministry is a calling that requires flexibility, and a willingness to serve. This could look like sweeping the floors, or helping to manage a construction project. This role requires someone with a willingness to accept challenges head-on. Expected to serve in any capacity needed to help grow the ministry.
Qualifications
• Minimum of conversational level of Spanish, with a willingness to study and improve.
• Flexible schedule for international travel, and odd hours, (weekends, evenings).
• A genuine calling to ministry and a deep understanding of its principles and practices.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit to help grow multiple ministry efforts around the world.
• Detail oriented with above average organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in excel, and basic business operations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally semi-regularly. (6-12 times per year).
Experience working in a non-profit or ministry context is a plus.
Reporting Structure:
The Ministry Development Associate will report directly to the executive director, serving as their right hand and collaborator in both business and ministry aspects within the organization.

Salary:
