Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Dialing in espresso and maintain quality throughout the day
- Provide warm, attentive customer service, including taking orders and offering recommendations
- Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop, including prep and seating areas
- Contribution to seasonal menu development
- Follow food safety and handling standards at all times
- Work efficiently during rushes without compromising quality
- Create a positive, welcoming atmosphere while addressing customer needs
Skills
- Experience as a barista with the knowledge of basic espresso fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage preparation, and food handling practices.
- Move with urgency
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently.
Schedule
Saturday availability required!
Shift begins as early as 7:00 AM
Pay:
Average hourly earnings around $22 including tips
