Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor cutting machinery such as CNC milling machines, stamping presses, presses to produce precise parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards throughout production.
- Program CNC equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery including Fanuc-controlled CNC systems, press brakes, CNC lathes, and other fabrication tools.
- Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct quality control inspections, document production data, and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of factory safety standards, materials handling procedures, and quality assurance practices.
- forklift experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
