Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team! You will oversee daily office functions, manage bookkeeping tasks, and support team management initiatives. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, including front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and calendar management to keep the office running smoothly.
- Manage bookkeeping responsibilities using QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, expense tracking, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate vendor management activities such as processing payments, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Handle human resources tasks including onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel files, managing employee records, managing compliance with MA office of unemployment and supporting HR compliance efforts.
- Maintain organized filing systems—both digital and physical—and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Embrace, initiate and leverage AI to make the company and your job more efficient.
Experience
- Proven experience in office management combined with bookkeeping expertise.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices and contract negotiations to optimize operational costs.
- Experience in human resources functions such as onboarding, payroll processing, and employee recordkeeping.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to manage filing systems and multi-task effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and how to leverage to achieve efficiencies within your role.
Schedule
- This role offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 5 days a week.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
