What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Systems Analyst, Registrar position at New College of Florida?
A Registrar Technology Support, or Systems Analyst is for the Office of the Registrar, which interacts with nearly every office on campus from admissions through alumni, to support the degree audit program (DegreeWorks), implementation of FASTER transcript delivery, and integration and alignment of systems and processes within and without the Office of the Registrar, with a goal of improving student experience and identifying efficiencies to streamline processes.Facilitate seamless transitions and connections between systems and departments
Coordinate implementation, testing, and improvements with IT and other offices including Housing, Space Management,
Admissions, Financial Aid and Finance & Accounting.
Analyze, identify ways to increase efficiencies, streamline, and create an improved experience for users – especially students
Access and identify what is needed for us to implement issuance of the FASTER transcripts per BOG regulations
Assist to develop a transcript refresh (add course numbering)
Support implementation of DegreeWorks, Ellucian experience, and other initiatives such as paperless student records and, review and recommendations of reporting, workflows and processing, updates and maintenance to Student and Faculty self service, FERPA tracking, etc.
Routinely utilize multiple software products, and must coordinate for syncing with other office and their systems, including:
similar software.

- Bookstore – Follett, sync with Banner, rooms set up)
- IR Reporting coordination, they use power BI, EdSights chatbot
