Teaching Assistant:
Provide guidance to students:
Class/lab work, grade quizzes, set up experiments, take down experiments, hold office hours, hold problem solving sessions,
Assisting faculty with classroom instruction, records, and assignments
Lead student discussion sections
Meeting with students during office hours
Conferencing with students individually or in small groups
Delivering lectures or guest lectures
Grading assignments or papers
Managing course communications
Preparing laboratory materials Recording and calculating grades.
Laboratory Assistant:
Enforcing laboratory rules and procedures
Taking attendance and monitoring participation
Obtaining and distributing course materials
Ordering course textbooks and monitoring supply
Conduct research for the professor Keeping student records.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Current student at New College of Florida.
