Milk Source is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Milk Hauler to join our hauling team. This role is responsible for safely transporting raw milk from our dairy farms to processing facilities while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and professionalism.

Location: Grand Marsh, WI

Reports To: Fleet Operations Manager

Estimated Pay: $35,100 annually (Piecework rate at $150 per load)

What You'll Do

• Safely transport raw milk from dairy farms to processing facilities while following all company policies, safety requirements, and transportation regulations.
• Follow assigned schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Measure, load, and unload milk while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
• Complete required paperwork and accurately record volume and weight measurements.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and promptly report equipment issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain clean trucks and tankers, including daily washing and sanitation activities.
• Communicate effectively with dairy, operations, and plant personnel regarding concerns, incidents, or operational updates.
• Adhere to all quality, food safety, and workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and endorsements.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and complete other duties as assigned.

Key Skills & Attributes

• Safely operate milk tanker in compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies while adhering to all safety practices.
• Complete appropriate paperwork at farm and dairy plants.
• Maintain clean trucks and tankers both inside and out and report defects immediately.
• Wash truck & tanker while in dairy plant milk intake daily.
• Follows schedule and designated route from location to predetermined destination.
• Maintains positive communications with the Herd and Operations staff and report concerns to Supervisor.
• Report any issues or incidents that may arise at the Dairy or on the road.
• Measures milk loaded into trailer.
• Loads and unloads product.
• Adheres to all Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures as well as all Safety policies and procedures and reports deficiencies immediately.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with peers, vendors, and community members.
• Conducts Pre and Post trip inspections.
• Maintains all required certifications.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Attributes, Physical Requirements

• CDL with Endorsement: N-Tank Vehicles required.
• Dependable, organized, and capable of prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read, record, and communicate volume and weight measurements.
• Effective communication and professionalism when interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
• Normal demands associated with commercial truck driving.
• Some strenuous work involves lifting, connecting, disconnecting hoses.
• Ladder climbing to access the top of tank trailers and farm tanks.
• Normal exertion associated with hooking and unhooking trucks and trailers.
• Employees are frequently (more than 75% of the time) required to: use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, sit; to verbally communicate; and to hear.
• The employee is occasionally (up to 33% of the time) required to walk and stand.
