ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assists the Operations Manager in the development of annual budgets and capital expenditures. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities. This includes maintaining proper records for this same equipment and facilities. Responsible for inventory control and keeping inventory in proper condition. Follows the company’s pricing policies on all merchandise and services. Keep up to date on all product knowledge and make proper recommendations to patrons and prospects. requirements.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and
Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work
experience. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Normally requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Continuously Exposed Or Required To:
Ability to travel independently and overnight.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMAR collects for sales of all assigned products. Responsible to see that all new patrons and prospects receive a company credit application. Develop a basic comprehension of Agri-Finance program and know the proper channels to utilize in order to have the program explained to patrons and prospects which could benefit from this program.
