New Century Advisors is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support and accelerate the firm’s institutional sales effort. This is a foundational role on a small, high-performing team where your work will have direct visibility and real impact. You will work closely with senior sales and investment professionals, owning the operational engine that keeps the pipeline moving and the firm’s external presence sharp.

This is the right role for someone early in their institutional asset management career who wants to learn the full sales cycle from the inside, build a foundation in how sophisticated allocators evaluate managers, and grow into a more senior sales role over time.

Pipeline Development and Prospecting

Work with senior sales staff to identify, research, and prioritize prospective allocators across target channels including OCIOs, family offices, RIAs, consultants, and pension plans. Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate meetings and introductions for senior team members. Monitor Dakota Marketplace and other sources for new opportunities and relevant market activity. Maintain rigorous, up-to-date pipeline records in Salesforce.

Own the end-to-end coordination of RFP and RFI submissions, working with investment and operations teams to gather content, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy and consistency across responses.

CRM and Reporting

Keep Salesforce current with contact records, interaction history, and pipeline status. Prepare regular activity and pipeline reports for senior leadership. Help build and refine processes that improve the team’s overall efficiency and outreach effectiveness.

Relationship Support

Coordinate touchpoints, meeting logistics, and follow-up for existing consultant and client relationships managed by senior team members. Serve as a responsive, professional point of contact for allocators during the evaluation and onboarding process.
