Housekeeping Worker

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Handle janitorial tasks such as waste disposal and restroom sanitation.
• Maintain floors through regular cleaning and buffing to ensure a polished appearance.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
• Provide support in commercial cleaning projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Engage in residential painting duties when required to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, is a plus.
• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial for this role.
