New Castle Lawn & Landscape is looking for a Turf Care Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for applying our 5-step lawn care treatment program and monitoring the health of client lawns to keep them thick, green, and weed-free.
What Youll Do
- Apply our 5-step lawn care treatment program (fertilizer, weed control, grub/insect control, etc.) safely and accurately on residential and/or commercial properties.
- Inspect and monitor lawn conditions on every visit (weeds, disease, insects, turf density, drought stress, damage, etc.).
- Recommend corrective actions to improve the lawn (additional treatments, seeding, aeration, watering or mowing adjustments, etc.).
Communicate professionally with clients on-site:
Explain what was applied today
- Answer basic lawn care questions
- Note and report any concerns or upsell opportunities to your supervisor/office
- Safely operate and maintain turf care equipment (spreaders, sprayers, hoses, trucks, etc.).
- Follow all safety protocols and state pesticide regulations when handling and applying materials.
- Complete daily paperwork or app-based reporting: services completed, materials used, time on site, and any recommendations for follow-up.
- Assist teammates with general yard and equipment upkeep as needed.
