What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School B.A.S.E. Lead position at New Buffalo Area Schools?
Work Hours: Monday – Friday during 186 school days
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
11:30 am – 6:00 pm on half days
Job Goal: To provide care and activities for school age during BASE hours.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Supervise indoor and outdoor play.
2. Be an active participant in large motor games, team building activities and recreational play.
3. Serve prepared snack.
4. Greet parents and students with a smile.
5. Effectively communicate with supervisor, students, parents and peers.
Education: High School Diploma
Experience working with children preferred
Other Skills and Abilities:
1. Must be able to supervise outdoor time everyday. Please dress accordingly. Will be required to sit, stand, and walk daily.
2. Prepare to be active.
3. Will be responsible for the safety of the students.
4. Must be punctual and have good attendance.
