What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastor position at New Brunswick Bible Institute?
The church is looking for a man of God who desires to be an under shepherd of a small church. The potential for growth is very real. The church was established in 1990. There are 40 – 50 who come on Sundays. We currently have an evening service, Wednesday prayer meeting, a men’s group that meets on Wednesdays and once a month breakfast. The present pastor has been here about 35 years. We have had AWANA for over 12 years, a relay church for Shoeboxes, group and individual mission trips (Peru, Haiti, Sierra Leone, and individuals going for short term to China, Myanmar, Guatemala,). Since 1990 we have supported CEF Maine, Camp Good News, Living Water Camp in Danforth, Jews for Jesus,… This is an ‘elder run’ ministry with deacons who minister to the physical needs of the church and community. We have a non-denominational label with Conservative Baptist roots.
The finances may be such that a bi-vocational position will be necessary, the prayer is for full-time ministry. Our pastor has been full-time since the beginning of the church.
