New Bern Auto Group in search for a (GSM) to oversee the dealership's entire sales operation, including new and used vehicle sales, finance, and customer relations, to drive profitability. Key duties include managing sales personnel, developing sales strategies and budgets, setting performance goals, training and motivating the sales team, analyzing sales data, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining vehicle inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Hiring, training, and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve set sales targets and contribute to overall dealership profitability.
- Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing sales plans, strategies, and promotional campaigns for both new and used vehicles to boost revenue.
- Performance Management: Setting realistic sales goals, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and assessing team performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Financial Oversight: Monitoring sales department budgets, managing profit margins, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Customer Relations: Fostering positive customer experiences and relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal vehicle inventory levels for both new and used cars to meet market demand and sales objectives.
