What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor (ABA)/Case Manager position at New Behavior Transitions?
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation of behavior intervention services, supporting Behavior Technicians (BTs), and ensuring high-quality clinical care under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role plays a key part in maintaining treatment integrity, staff development, and positive client outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field
(or currently enrolled in a Master’s program) - Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an ABA or related setting
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and data collection methods
- Ability to pass background check and meet all state requirements
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized treatment programs under BCBA supervision
- Oversee and support Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to ensure consistent and accurate service delivery
- Provide ongoing coaching, modeling, and performance feedback to BTs during and after sessions
- Conduct competency assessments and ensure staff meet clinical and documentation standards
- Monitor treatment fidelity and ensure programs are implemented as designed
- Review client data regularly and communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations to the BCBA
- Maintain consistent oversight of assigned caseload, including scheduling, productivity, and service delivery
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions

Preferred Qualifications
- Working toward BCBA certification (if not already obtained)
- Experience conducting FBAs and program development
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
