Qualifications:1. Have a masters degree in Behavioral Science from an accredited college or university plus two years of employment as a social worker in an agency serving children or in a residential congregate care program for children.Have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and three years of administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, direct care, or support staff providing direct services to youths in an agency or a community care facility with a licensed capacity of seven or more.Have completed at least two years at an accredited college or university, plus at least five years of administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, direct care, and support staff providing direct services to youths in an agency or a community care facility with a licensed capacity of seven or more.Be a qualified and certified group home administrator before January 1, 2017.Examples of Duties and Responsibilities1. Direction and evaluation of a residential treatment facility within the limits of the licensee's functions and policies.2. Preparation of the facilitys budget and management of expenditures according to the facilitys budget limitations.3. Organization of the work of the facility and delegation of responsibility to staff members.4. Assessment of the facility operations and program; report to the licensee and make recommendations to address identified problems.5. Involvement in the recruitment, appointment, training, evaluation, and termination of staff.6. Review youths, placing agent and stakeholders' complaints, and resolve expeditiously.7. Developing written policies, procedures, and practices for continuous quality improvement.8. Observing and interacting with staff, youths, and other individuals, as necessary, to ensure the quality of care for youths and program services.9. Attend CFT meetings.10. SR5 documentation.11. IEPs.12. Review of SIRs and Grievances, if applicable.13. Employee observation, evaluation, and documentation.14. Review and document the Weekly Assessment, Legal Book, Communication Log, Medication, Significant Event Logs, etc.15. Monthly youth distribution and reports.16. Process home pass requests.17. Inspections of facility exterior and interior for cleanliness, repairs, and needs for compliance.18. Community liaison.
