What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assistant position at New Beginnings Home Solutions?
Looking for someone who is okay with a startup business that has grown very fast. It's chaotic, and every day is different. We are a structural repair company and also specialize in residential remodeling. We are into everything daily. My phone is non-stop. Veteran operated. Nothing super fancy, so please don't expect a corporate setting. That's not us, nor will it be. We have a family-type setting. I just want us all to do our jobs CORRECTLY and make it so everyone has their role so we can advance. I need Google accounts organized, files actually labeled, documented, and put in folders with job site photos, invoices, estimates, and change orders. I'm tired of digging for 10 or 15 minutes through unorganized things. I'm not good with this stuff, and I'm way too busy to keep trying to do it. Some days I'll need you to ride with us to job sites, pick up things—just whatever it takes to help me. Learn estimates, invoices, making deposits, and scheduling for who does what and where. It's a lot, but the position pays well for the right fit. I have a structured office setup that works for now. It keeps someone here on-site that's close to our projects until we get a lot and building locked in for the company. I need someone who works and gets things done properly.
Plenty of room for growth. We don't start at 10 am and leave at 3 pm. It's an 8 am start and usually 4 or 5 or sometimes 7 pm. It's hard work and it's not easy. That's why I'm hiring someone because I can't do everything. A lot of one-on-one until a new system is created. Sometimes you will ride with me so you can learn the operations, the estimates, customer interactions. I want you to talk to customers, handle situations. Be sharp and on top of it. I'm going to be selective for this position. From prior experiences, I need the right fit. This is not in any way a work-from-home job. We are a family-friendly company. We will help with kids any way we can. But ultimately, I need help, so no BS, just someone who's got grit for this kind of work.
