Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Duties
- Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and creativity
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist children with classroom activities or during outings to promote social skills and independence
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Ability to handle toddlers’ care routines including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-specific activities
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, guardians, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment
