Our company is looking for an outgoing and reliable individual to join our hospitality team as a Custodian. The successful candidate will be working alongside our team to ensure that the offices, classrooms, and public areas are neat, clean and orderly for staff, volunteers, and attendees. An ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoys cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Clean a variety of spaces, from offices to bathrooms. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning of glass surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, and the routine removal of trash.
- Monitor and maintain equipment that is used in a variety of spaces, from offices to classrooms.
- Maintain a cleaning schedule for the church.
- Maintain and communicate the ordering of cleaning supplies.
- Use cleaning chemicals correctly.
- Make sure that office spaces are free from fire hazards.
- Assist as needed/requested in the setting up, tearing down, and post clean up from funerals and/or weddings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
