Position:
- Jr. Clerk (Calendar Year)
Responsibilities:
- Ability to relate to students, parents, staff and community
- Self-motivated and flexible; must show demonstrated ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and paying attention to detail
- Computer literacy essential with various programs – ASPEN, Word and Excel, AESOP
- Processing of student records, meeting Federal and State Special Education Laws
- Additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer servivce
- Expereince with computers/technology
- Positive history of attendance
- NEW BEDFORD Residency Strongly Preferred
Terms of Employment:
- Reports to: School Principal or Designee
- Hours: 7:30am – 3:00pm
- Rate: In accordance with the AFSCME contract found here
