JOB MISSION:
As a Team Lead, you will assist with planning and executing the daily work flow through the Consolidation and Kitting Departments. Monitor inventory availability and accuracy, ensures daily factory needs are met and assists team associates with maintaining production flow. Consistently monitors process adherence, initiates problem solving activities and partners with associates to ensure their success.
- Investigate & assists in resolving raw material Quality issues with internal NB departments.
- Understands and actively uses NB data systems such as Aurora, Shop Floor and Diver.
- Assists Warehouse Supervisor with the day to day activities in the warehouse to maintain operational and labor effectiveness including specific inventory management tasks such as utilizing NB data/systems/reports; container management and allocation to other stockrooms.
- Problem solves with associates/management to understand current state, implementing countermeasures, utilizing process experts and identifying solutions to ensure problem resolution.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with associates and management.
- Displays and role models commitment & initiative to always stay current; partnering with associates to support their learning and development; solving problems and moving forward.
- Ability to learn and perform all positions within the supported area i.e. Kitting/Consolidation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or a minimum of 2 years experience in Warehouse and/or Inventory Management.
- Active demonstration of commonly used practices and procedures within Warehouse operations.
- Proven ability to think critically and objectively with the desire to continuously improve processes and systems.
- Ability to effectively give and receive positive feedback and improvement feedback.
- Ability to work with a variety of different learning styles, capabilities and personalities.
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
