FOH Barista (Part Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PART-TIME Barista Team Member to join our vibrant team in Midtown Manhattan! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30am-3pm

Pay: $18/Hour

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare food items as needed while adhering to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions and operate the Aloha POS system for order processing
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Assist in training new team members as required

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices
• Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous experience in food service or sales is preferred but not mandatory
