What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis LMHP position at New Approaches Mental Health Services?
New Approaches Mental Health Services (NAMHS) is looking for an independently licensed LMHP to perform mobile and face to face risk assessments. The potential candidate must be licensed in the State of Louisiana and must have at least 1 year experience working in an outpatient setting servicing children, adolescents, and adults. Other job duties are, but not limited to: Treatment Plans, Service Authorizations, Assisting Clinical Director with Quality Management, etc. This position does require the potential candidate to have excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interviewing skills. We see client's in Iberia, St. Martin, St. Landry, Lafayette, St. Mary, and Vermilion Parishes so a license for the state of Louisiana is required. We meet with clients via telehealth and face to face. This is an independent contractor job.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments including assessment, OTR, treatment plan, discharge plan, and safety plan.
-Supervise crisis sessions
-Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with Louisiana regulations
-Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
-Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active professional license for the state of Louisiana.
-Previous experience in crisis response
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and child family counseling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
Compensation:
The rate of pay for a risk assessment is $170, which includes the assessment, OTR, treatment plan, discharge plan, and safety plan. Supervision of sessions rate of pay is $60/hour.
Pay: $60.00 - $175.00 per hour
