Our startup has grown 10X in the past year; and to accelerate our growth even faster, we are seeking an intelligent and curious PhD in the biological sciences to formulate and drive new strategic initiatives. Business experience is welcomed but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Precision Medicine technologies have proven valuable in certain key medical settings, and their adoption has grown exponentially over the past year. But there are myriad ways it can benefit humanity on a much larger scale, and that is where you come in.
In particular, you will apply the critical thinking skills you developed in your PhD to help our marketing team identify lucrative opportunities in the marketplace, help our technical team refine our product, help our sales team communicate our technology's value, and more. If successful, you can make tremendous real-world impact.
As a senior member of our organization, you will be working cross-functionally: you will be working with our medical team of MDs and PhDs, our technical team, and our business team. We have a culture where everyone is expected to learn from and communicate with everyone.
You must be comfortable learning new things quickly, enjoy interacting with other people, be comfortable giving presentations, and thrive in a fast-paced startup lifestyle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in the biological sciences or MD
- Interest, but not necessarily experience, in business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and results-driven attitude
- Ability to travel ~10% of the time
- US work authorization (unfortunately we cannot sponsor visas)
WORK LOCATION
We are based in Cambridge, MA; but most work will be remote / telecommute.
COMPENSATION
A mix of base salary, performance bonuses, and equity in the company, personally tailored to align with the applicant's career goals and objectives.

FUTURE GROWTH
