Welder / Fabricator

Pay: $18.00 /hour (based on experience) performance bonus
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview
New American Reel Co. is hiring a Welder / Fabricator to support our manufacturing and repair operations. This is a hands-on role working with metal fabrication, welding, and machining in a fast-paced shop environment. We’re looking for someone dependable, safety-focused, and ready to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders
- Weld metal components (MIG)
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to specifications
- Perform basic machining and modify parts as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
- Load/unload materials and operate forklift (as trained)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team
- Ability to read and work from shop drawings and work orders
- Familiarity with MIG welding, plasma cutting, and metal fabrication processes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a production environment
- Experience in welding, fabrication, machining, or similar industrial work
