Qualifications
- Experience as a Loan Officer with a proven record of originating and managing residential mortgage loans.
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and current market practices, including familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.
- Hands-on experience in Mortgage Lending processes, including application intake, documentation review, and pipeline management.
- Understanding of Underwriting principles and guidelines to effectively structure and present loan files.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and support clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Relevant state licensing and registration as required (e.g., NMLS registration); ability to maintain all regulatory compliance standards.
- Solid analytical, math, and financial assessment skills; comfort working with credit reports, income documentation, and debt-to-income calculations.
