Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring property, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee property and personnel.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures.
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation is a plus.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or licenses are a plus.
- Must be 25 years or older
- Open Availability is a plus
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
