What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Control position at New Age Protection, Inc.?
This position requires a minimum of an active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
Shifts
Full-Time
- Monday–Friday: 1500–2230
- Sunday–Thursday: 2230/2300–0700
Part-Time
- Monday–Friday: 1500–2230
- Sunday–Thursday: 2230/2300–0700
Responsibilities
- Report and/or correct unsafe conditions, procedures, or activities.
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of personnel.
- Assist with processing individuals into secure facilities at various locations.
- Conduct random inspections to ensure prohibited items are not introduced into facilities.
- Secure designated areas in accordance with post orders and security regulations.
- Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems, fire alarms, and dispatch personnel as necessary.
- Monitor access into and out of facilities by verifying personnel identification and recognizing various government-issued credentials and badges.
- Operate and maintain manual and computerized access control systems, databases, and other related equipment.
- Operate walk-through metal detectors, including fixed and portable units, X-ray equipment, and other screening equipment at pedestrian control points.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
