Position Overview

We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our practice as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate is dedicated, ethical, and passionate about delivering high-quality clinical care. This role includes a blend of in-person sessions (one day(s) per week) and telehealth, with the opportunity to build a caseload of at least 10 sessions per week over time.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling using evidence-based approaches
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Uphold professional and ethical standards consistent with NYS licensure
• Participate in weekly supervision (provided by the practice)
• Collaborate with practice leadership to support client care and practice growth
• Maintain clear communication with clients and team members

Qualifications

• LMHC or Limited Permit in New York State
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical practice
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture
• Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
• Interest in building a long-term caseload within the practice

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
