Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Age Teacher to join our New Adventures Learning Center Talladega Family. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This position involves working with young children, providing them with the foundational skills they need for future academic success while promoting their social and emotional development.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Having classroom management skills.
Giving care to and providing a safe and loving environment for all children.
Interacting and playing with children.
Working as a team player alongside co-workers.
Keeping classrooms neat and tidy.

Applicants:
- must be 18 or older
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- must be willing to submit to a Criminal History Background Check
- have experience working with children in a child care setting (REQUIRED)
- be RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY!
- have a positive attitude and good character!
- be flexible and available to work
- WANT/NEED to work! (This is not a position for someone who is not serious about working and being active with children.)

Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices in teaching strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 5-12 is REQUIRED.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices, including lesson planning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- A passion for educating young children and a commitment to their holistic development.
