About The Role
Nevly is seeking a Director of Product (the “Director”) for our Nevly Money product (the “Product”) to participate materially in the building and leading of the Company’s product department (the “Department”). To be successful, the right candidate would be confident in building and managing product teams while, at the same time, bridging strategic vision to product design. We would also expect the right candidate to be capable of setting a solid foundation within the Department from a leadership perspective and have a strong sense of curiosity around the Product as well as the overall discipline that is product strategy.

Nevly offers a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus based on performance and also provides a generous benefits package to its team members:

About The Role
Nevly is seeking a Director of Product (the “Director”) for our Nevly Money product (the “Product”) to participate materially in the building and leading of the Company’s product department (the “Department”). We would also expect the right candidate to be capable of setting a solid foundation within the Department from a leadership perspective and have a strong sense of curiosity around the Product as well as the overall discipline that is product strategy.
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team to establish the principles and practices of the Department and ensuring that those principles align with the Company’s strategic vision and operating priorities.
- Drive the Department’s team building efforts in coordination with the Company’s leadership and recruiting teams by being a gatekeeper for ensuring prospective Department members have strong technical and design skills while also aligning with the Company’s values.
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the Company’s vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver on the Company’s objectives.
- Being principally responsible for ensuring that the Company’s products are highly functional, scalable and deliver amazing user experiences.
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams in order to shape requirements, features and end products or features.
- Work closely with senior leadership to create product plans and roadmaps.
- Lead product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Produce and review product requirements documents.
- Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
- Make creative and functional recommendations that enable the expansion of the product base and strategic vision.
- Prior experience as a director of product management, product director or in a similar senior-level role within a product department with a preference given to prior startup or early-stage company experience.
- Six (6) plus years of product experience.
- Previous experience working on consumer facing products.
- Familiarity with the Agile framework.
- Possess strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
