The Curriculum and Instructional Program Specialist collaborates with site and
district leadership to ensure the fidelity, alignment, and effectiveness of core
instructional programs and curriculum across content areas and grade levels. This
role focuses on curriculum standard alignment, deep data analysis, and
supporting the systemic implementation of the district's instructional framework
(BLUEPRINT). The Specialist will design and lead professional development focused on
curriculum implementation, assist in data-driven curriculum adjustments, and
ensure all instructional resources are current and aligned to research-based
practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Curriculum Alignment and Program Fidelity
? Assist teachers in aligning lesson plans and instructional materials with state
and district standards.
? Guide educators in implementing new curriculum initiatives, instructional
programs, or technology tools.
? Ensure the implementation of the district's instructional framework
? Provide resources, tools, and strategies to enhance the planning and delivery
of instruction.
? Serve as a liaison between educators and school leadership to align
classroom practices with school improvement goals.
Data Analysis and Program Evaluation
? Collaborate with teachers to analyze student assessment data to identify
strengths, curriculum gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
? Help instructional teams develop actionable strategies to address
achievement gaps and support student growth through curriculum
modifications.
? Monitor and evaluate the impact of instructional programs on student
performance and adjust implementation strategies as needed.
Professional Learning Design and Facilitation
? Design and facilitate professional learning sessions, workshops, and training
programs for staff focused on curriculum implementation and data analysis.
? Introduce and support the integration of evidence-based instructional
strategies and resources.
? Foster a culture of continuous professional growth by encouraging reflective
practice and peer collaboration.
Coaching and Modeling
? Model best practices in instruction by co-teaching lessons and
demonstrating innovative techniques in classrooms specifically for training
purposes.
? Provide supportive feedback in professional learning communities
(CTMs/ILTs) to foster improvements in practices.

Qualifications:
Educational Background
? Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required.
? Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, educational
leadership, or a related area is preferred.
Experience and Expertise
? Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, demonstrating research-based
instructional practices and classroom management.
? Deep knowledge of high-yield instructional strategies, curriculum standards,
and assessment practices.
? Familiarity with current educational trends, research-based teaching
practices, and technology integration in education.
? Experience in leading professional development sessions or workshops for
teachers.

implementation of the district's core instructional program.
? Action Plan Achievement: Percentage of curriculum implementation action
plan goals achieved within the specified timeframe.
? Alignment Accuracy: Evidence of teacher lesson plans and instructional
materials fully aligned with state and district standards.
2. Data-Driven Program Adjustment
? Data Utilization in Planning: Percentage of teachers using analyzed student
data to inform lesson planning and instructional strategies through
co-planning in CTMs.
? Systemic Instructional Adjustments: Evidence of teaching adjustments
based on program evaluation and data analysis within a specified timeframe.
3. Professional Learning Effectiveness
? Relevance of Training: Survey feedback from attendees on the relevance,
applicability, and impact of training sessions focused on curriculum and
program use.
? Follow-Through Support: Number of follow-up coaching sessions or
resources provided post-training to ensure instructional shifts.
