VP - Illiquid Credit Valuations
- Manage and perform illiquid equity valuation reviews across multiple alternative asset classes and strategies, including growth equity, private equity and infrastructure equity.
- Prepare valuation materials and sensitivity analyses, including presentations to senior stakeholders
- Apply various valuation approaches in analysis including Market approach (public comps, precedent transactions, index proxies), Income approach (DCF, scenario‑based analyses), Net asset value and hybrid methodologies, where applicable
- Perform deal‑related reviews by leading coordination efforts control functions to assess accounting treatment, valuation considerations, and disclosure impacts
- Manage and actively participate in teamwide and firmwide strategic initiatives focused on process improvement and automation to drive collaboration across stakeholders
- Regular interaction with Controllers management, the Portfolio Management team and support areas such as Fund Accounting, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Investor Relations
- Involvement in external/internal audit review process
- Manage the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience preferably in valuation advisory, alternative asset management, or valuation control
- Comprehensive understanding of Private Equity, Private Debt, and Real Estate valuations, including in-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies, including market approach and DCF. Complex capital structure equity allocation knowledge preferred
- Strong understanding of the fixed income and equity markets and the alternative investment management industry
- Strong knowledge of valuation related accounting disclosures (ASC 820)
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
