Newville Construction/ East Coast Access is seeking an organized and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Answering phones, taking messages and directing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Greeting visitors and addressing inquiries.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail, emails and packages.
- Scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings.
- Performing data entry and maintaining physical and digital files.
- Drafting, proof reading and sending routine correspondence.
- Ording office supplies, stocking break rooms and managing inventory.
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping, expense reports or invoicing.
- Tidying reception area, meeting rooms and common areas.
- Assist with organizational tasks to improve office efficiency.
- Experience
- Experience in an office assistant role is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in organizational tasks, including file management and documentation.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
