The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is located in Cambridge, close to the Belmont line.
As the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) some of your essential job responsibilities include:
- Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
- Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
- Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible. Such techniques include walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility.
- Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
- Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English. Other languages are helpful.
- Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
