- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli and bakery areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock shelves with fresh products, ensure proper food handling procedures are followed, and organize displays attractively
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing meats, cheeses, or baked goods using appropriate equipment
- Support kitchen operations by bussing tables or clearing counters during busy periods in café or quick service environments
- Follow all sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus

- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
