What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teachers (4 Positions Available) position at Nevaeh's Early Learning Academy?
Nevaeh’s Early Learning Academy is growing, and we are hiring FOUR dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. We have one position available in each classroom:
- Infant Teacher (6 weeks–12 months)
- 1‑Year‑Old Teacher
- 2‑Year‑Old Teacher
- 3‑Year‑Old Teacher
We are looking for caring, energetic educators who are passionate about supporting young children through play‑based learning, nurturing relationships, and developmentally appropriate practice.
Responsibilities (Age‑Specific Duties Apply)- Create a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities for infants, 1’s, 2’s, or 3’s
- Support children’s language, motor, cognitive, and social‑emotional development
- Maintain daily routines (feeding, diapering/toileting, meals, rest time, transitions)
- Observe and document developmental progress
- Communicate effectively with families
- Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies
- Experience working with young children (infants–3 years)
- CPR/First Aid and required early childhood training
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening
- CDA or ECE coursework preferred
