When you join the team at NVCS, you join a team of dedicated professionals working all over the state in a virtual environment to ensure the success of our families and students who are using the Accel curriculum through our Canvas portal to meet their educational needs and goals, grades 6-12.
Job Summary:
The Success Partner Coordinator (SPC) is a key member of the student support team. The SPC ensures all Success Partners, parents and guardians are fully supported in the Accel curriculum, school polices and daily school functions to ensure their students are successful in school. The SPC assists with a variety of functions, including implementing instructional programs, onboarding parents, reviewing student performance, assisting Community Engagement Specialist with events and other tasks as needed by staff. This person will provide trainings for parents/Success Partners and be available to assist them in supporting their students. This is a 11-month position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Present parent orientations monthly
- Develop a monthly parent newsletter
- Attends all family engagement activities
- Support new school year launch
- Present trainings for parents
- Plan outreach events for parents/success partners (online and in person)
- Host monthly parent engagement events (online and in person)
- Assist with enrollment calls to parents
- Completes clerical duties as needed (answering emails and phone calls from families timely)
- Collaborate with Community Engagement Specialist to support student/parent engagement
- Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; in the field closely related to education, human development and or customer service is required.
Certificates And Licenses:
Nevada Substitute Teaching license required on or within 30 days of hire.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of college AND
- Two (2) years of experience in education OR
- Equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Experience working with the proposed age group;
- Experience supporting adults and children in learning and the use of technology;
- An ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g. database and web-based tools);
