Help Shape the Future of Our Northern Nevada Presence
NVSAA is seeking a Membership, Events, and Engagement Coordinator to serve as the face of our association in Northern Nevada.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating memorable events, connecting people with resources, and working with a high degree of independence.
While based in Reno, you'll be supported by a collaborative and experienced team in Las Vegas that is committed to helping each other succeed. We work hard, have fun, and genuinely enjoy supporting one another. Our goal is to deliver a top tier experience for every member, and we approach that mission as a team.
If you're looking for a position where you can make a visible impact, build meaningful industry relationships, and help shape processes as we continue to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will:

- Represent NVSAA throughout the Northern Nevada market with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Create a consistent, top tier member experience across all touchpoints
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and help document best practices as our organization continues to evolve
This position offers a unique balance of structure and autonomy. We are looking for someone who is comfortable learning established processes while also helping us improve and refine them over time.
About the Role
As the primary NVSAA staff representative in Northern Nevada, you will serve as the local connection between our members, volunteer leadership, and statewide staff team.
Responsibilities include:

- Managing event registrations, communications, marketing, and logistics
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the Reno office
- Supporting Reno based Board of Directors meetings and interacting regularly with Board members
- Collaborating closely with the Executive Director and Las Vegas team to support statewide initiatives
Member visits are an important part of this position. These visits are focused on relationship building, member engagement, and sharing information about the association. They are not high pressure sales calls. Successful candidates genuinely enjoy meeting people and building professional relationships.
Training and Support
Although this position is based in Reno, you won't be on an island.
Your onboarding experience will include:
- One week of training with the Las Vegas team during your first week of employment, with all travel expenses paid by NVSAA
- Additional opportunities to travel to Las Vegas during your first year to observe larger association events and collaborate with staff
- Ongoing support, coaching, and collaboration from an experienced statewide team
We believe in setting our employees up for success. While this position operates with a high degree of independence, you will always have the support of a team that is invested in your success.
