Overview
Nevada Seal & Pump is a locally owned family business specializing in industrial pump repair, mechanical seal rebuilds, and related rotating equipment services. We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team. No direct experience required, other mechanic trades skill will transfer over.
This role involves both shop-based repair and field service work on a roughly equal basis (approximately 50 percent shop / 50 percent field). The successful candidate will rebuild and repair pumps, gearboxes and electric motors in our shop while also performing maintenance, and installation of equipment at customers facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test industrial pumps and associated equipment.
Perform field service calls involving pump troubleshooting, removal, installation, alignment, and repair.
Maintain accurate work records and communicate effectively with shop leadership and customers.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards in both shop and field environments.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on workload and customer needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay range: $18.00 – $36.00, commensurate with experience and skill level and tools.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess their own tools / toolbox, hands-on experience as a mechanic. Industrial pump repair or similar mechanical work a plus but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently in both shop and field settings, and a commitment to quality and safety are essential.
