What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at NEVADA PAIN & SPINE SPECIALISTS?
Nevada Pain and Spine Specialists is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide pain management Care to patients suffering both acute and chronic pain as a result of cancer, trauma, or aging. The main responsibility is to assess patient to determine extent of pain and follow pain treatment best practices to treat whole person. This may include performing injections under ultrasound, pain pump management, referring to PT, OT, psych, neuro. Physical exams are important to perform routinely to identify pain generator so targeted therapy can be utilized to reduce need of narcotic medications.
You will work collaboratively with the physicians in the practice.
