Our HR team is conducting a search for a General Manager based in Davenport, Iowa to lead a fast-growing youth fitness and development center. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive in sales, experienced in leadership, and energized by creating a positive impact on kids and families while driving strong business results.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily center operations, ensuring culture, safety, and an exceptional experience for families and team members.
- Drive membership growth through high-volume outreach (50 calls/day typical), trial conversions, and community engagement.
- Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, KPIs, and profitability.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing coaching team.
- Build meaningful relationships with families and serve as the welcoming face of the center.
- Support and occasionally coach classes, bringing energy and passion to each session.
Qualifications
- Must have 2–4 years of proven sales experience, with success meeting and exceeding goals.
- Passion for working with children — non-negotiable.
- Previous management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident engaging with parents and team members.
- Comfortable in a physically active environment (moving equipment, assisting kids with safe technique, on your feet much of the day).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, or Gusto a plus.
- CPR certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Bonus: background in pediatric OT/PT, fitness, or wellness.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
