Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underground Mobile Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Goldstrike operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a maintenance professional looking to grow their career with a dynamic, safety-first mining company.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency by developing, scheduling, and coordinating underground mobile maintenance plans. You will work closely with both operations and maintenance teams, using your technical knowledge and planning expertise to support safe and efficient mining operations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and schedule weekly maintenance plans for the underground (UG) and major repair shops.
- Create and distribute job packets and work schedules.
- Track and report on key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with procurement to write purchase requisitions and track material delivery.
- Schedule work based on parts availability and equipment downtime.
- Assist with work order management, including closing and scanning completed work.
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize jobs and adjust preventative maintenance schedules as needed.
- Support and improve maintenance processes using predictive, preventative, and reliability-based techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance planning experience in an underground mining environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven record of working safely and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
