The position involves installing and maintaining complex radio communications equipment, dispatch equipment, GPS systems and related operations technology systems in support of.

Responsibilities:
- Learn to install, maintain and repair digital trunked 2-way radio systems
- Learn to operate a volt-ohm-meter.
- Learn to install, test and maintain mobile data and truck tracking systems such as Hexagon Jigsaw dispatch systems.
- Learn to operate a digital wattmeter.
- Learn to install, test and maintain X-M satellite Radio System.
- Operate a computer system for data management and report generation.
- Operate a 2-way radio service monitor.
- Learn to install, test and maintain microwave and telemetry equipment.
- Learn to install and maintain public address systems (mobile and fixed).
- Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures, and the company's environmental compliance policy.

Qualifications:
- Proven safety record required
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
- Excellent attendance record required
- Ability to schedule and prioritize workload required

- Previous experience with commercial digital 2-way radio equipment preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
