Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Mechanic (Tech 4 or Higher) in our Carlin Process Maintenance department.

Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world. NGM produces approximately 3.5 million ounces of gold a year. Responsibilities And Qualifications
- Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild processing equipment, including, but not limited to crushers, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors within the processing facilities
- Replace and align belts, motors, pulleys, and conveyor rollers
- Various types of welding and/or any other types of maintenance associated with processing facilities
- Three (3) or more years of process facilities maintenance experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
- Proven excellent safety and attendance record
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job
